[wp-testers] Disappearing Posts: Not a Bug, But a Problem

I timed it; my WP Write page took 3 minutes to load. For me, that's up 
to 180 words. Full speed would be more, but I don't type at full speed. 
Active subsections like the box for categories seem to be the source of 
the load problem. Closing everything I don't use helps, but then it's 
annoying to have to open it when I need it.

There's something wrong, then with either my host, my computer 
connection, or my computer. I seem to remember reading something about 
speeding up things on the host side. I should dig them up.

PS: If I'm going to contribute here, I need to change my subscription to 
individual from digest and change addresses. The notifying ping on this 
account would drive me nuts with the content from wp-testers.
