[wp-pro] a couple of "can Wordpress do this?" questions for the pros

Two things that I'd like to know if anyone feels can be done with Wordpress.
If this can be done the client will pay...

I've been requested to create a directory site sort of like
citysearch.comso that people can pick a category and then find all
listings within a
selected radius of their zip code, and display all the various locations on
a map like Google does.

It also has to be a monthly recurring fee (that part I know there are
plugins for) but another aspect he wants is that when you subscribe you
create an account and you can use the money in your account to buy ads on
the site, or have your own site within the site, etc.

I assume the site within the site thing can be done especially w/ the
release of WP 3.0 although I haven't tried it yet. The trick to that one
would be how to set up the account and deduct from it when someone uses the
classified ads script, buys a web site, etc.

I would like to use Wordpress because it's easy at this point for me to
create a theme and the guy wants a back-end so that he can add and edit
content. He has agreed to let me create a beta site without the above
features just so he can show the idea to people but if it gets a good
response he is going to want to add those features. I will be installing
SimplePress, Another Wordpress Classifieds Plugin, and User Access Manager
on the beta site.

Thanks for any thoughts.
