What I wanted to talk to you about today was our new iPhone / Blackberry / Android application development service that we're rolling out to all customers.

Some of you have already had applications developed but we're now ready to open up and let everyone order this service.


Why think about a smartphone application?


Globally there are some 500m smartphone users the vast majority of whom have an 'always on' connection to the Internet as well as regularly buy and download applications.

Apple recently recorded their billionth iPhone application download – proving that there is an incredible consumer hunger for phone applications.


So what kind of things can you do with these applications?


First off, you can create your entire website to work specifically within a persons phone, for example our new Discuzz software can be formatted and changed so that they can view it directly on their blackberry.

Or, if you don't have such grand plans, how about an 'update' app that simply tells your users what's going on, like a news feed pulled from iSocial or a list of the latest videos from Rayzz VS or the latest discussion topics from Discuzz?
