This is a recipe for anarchists anonymous. Miriam's post was  
interesting.

Which is what we have here right now.

WP-Pro is supposed to be reasonably trendy upmarket bar filled with  
professionals. Instead it's filled with hucksters and shysters who  
come here and dump offal on our heads.

The email from Alan Johnston is what should be going out on this list.

This list has a purpose - contacting Wordpress professionals and  
that's what should be sent out to the list.

I'd be quite fine with this debate not happening here anymore - it is  
unbecoming - but not less unbecoming than the preposterous $5 offers.

If you'll agree to dump the $5 offers, I'll stop complaining about  
them. Professional standards go up all round.
