Look, I don't mean to discriminate against artists (although I sure will now), 
but we're not artists.  We're engineers with hundreds of man-years of 
experience and education.  Let me tell you what this list is not: this list 
is not a trolling ground for bargain labor.  People who do that should and 
will have to expect education first, flames later.

You can't use an "I'm looking for work" analogy when referring to this list.  
I'm quite confident that, at the very minimum, members of the wp-pro list all 
have steady sources of income and are just looking to add an extra income and 
help their favorite open source project in the process.  To pretend that 
we're all desperate for jobs and therefore we should accept whatever bone 
people throw in the direction of the list, is to ignore the reality -- really 
really hard.
