[wp-pro] membership profile page plug-in

Can anyone recommend a plug-in that manages multiple 'authors' (aka
members) who each can have a profile/about page they can manage on
their own ... and where the blog administrator can control their
active/inactive author access.

I've seen both a combination of the following plugins for this task but wanted more feedback if anyone has used them (what sites use them) or what other plugins are also useful:
