Here we should make a distinction between languages, which have only
several accented characters and languages, in which almost all
characters are outside ASCII.

The majority of translators of the latter languages do not tend to
escape non-ASCII chars, because they will have to convert nearly all
of their texts in entities. However, in cases like yours it isn't as
important if you use entities or you use utf8 characters.
