Would it be unreasonable to just edit the . to dot? That still leaves the
post, as far as subject matter, basically unedited.

The OP is having problems accepting that we will not edit or delete his

He's since tried to post twice more demanding the original topic be removed
or edited, so he's now on the naughty step until he gets the message.
