Warning, I'm about to hijack this conversation and give an off-topic
answer to your question. Take a look at this thread; it simultaneously
cracked me up and frustrated me:

How about a slight modification to the posting form? Underneath the
"What version of WP are you using?" dropdown, how about inserting two
checkboxes:

__ Have you searched the forums?
__ Have you searched the docs wiki?

If both boxes aren't checked, don't accept the post. Instead, redirect
them to a page explaining the benefits of using those other methods
first.
