Just a quick FYI - The consolidation of duplicated tags i.e. theme, themes,
theming can be handled via a stemming algorithm (
http://www.comp.lancs.ac.uk/computing/research/stemming/general/). The best
means of doing so would probably be via a cron job that runs nightly to stem
the tags.
