This is not an anti-codex idea :)
Let's say someone pops up and says "Hey, can I help ?" then the FAQ's
(despite being spread apart) are something they could do. But if they
are asked to use the forums to gather that info then they have no start
point. By having a constantly updated faq actually in the forum then
that becomes the reference.

My feelings about Codex haven't changed. I feel it's structure and
navigation works against someone who is already confused. Even on my
machine I won't run mediawiki for similar reasons. I also think that
maybe the groups using codex and the forums are slightly different.

So:
- I see this as enhancing codex and the forums
and
- if this is a good idea, it will run and stay running. If it is not,
then that will be apparent quite quickly and it will die a death.
