I posted this to my User page:
http://codex.wordpress.org/User:Podz
"I suggest that a new page be created Codex Copyright Holders.
Contributors to Codex can then be formally acknowledged. Everything is
still GPL - just like the code - and there is no distinction between
then between coders and contributors. --Podz 15:59, 15 Sep 2005 (GMT) "

Above that is a few more lines.
There has been no real reaction - or help.

I have just noticed that on the page
http://codex.wordpress.org/Test_Driving_WordPress there are 4 stubs at
the bottom.
{{stub}}
{{copyright}}
{{installation}}
{{advanced topics}}
spot the new one ? ...... and the stub for {{copyright}} is
Content is available under $1.

Would someone like to enlighten everyone as to what copyright terms will
be used, who will decide and whether or not there will be a page that
lists the name of those who have contributed to Codex ? Or do coders
have one rule and contributors another ? And simply saying "GPL" is NOT
an answer.
