 my wp-mu password forgot feature does'nt work.

 when i enter a valid username or e-mail address it says

 "OK. please check your e-mail address"

 but on my systems MTA (qmail) does'nt send the mail coz of this error.

 "failure: SMTP_cannot_transfer_messages_with_partial_final_lines"

 what is the reason of this and ahow can it be solved?
