 Typing in an apostrophe as part of the Site Name (Site Admin > Options),
 for example:

 John's MU Site

 and clicking "Update Options"

 results in

 John\'s MU Site

 in the Site Name field (and the backslash shows up everywhere in the front
 end themes as well, so it is stored...)
