 This is vitally important for BuddyPress, which uses theme names like
 "buddypress-home"

 This is a new defect since 2.7.1. Theme names with hyphens worked in 2.7.

 I looked for a little bit and could not find an obvious cause to this
 problem, so I do not have a patch at this time.
