Comment:

 The original idea behind the "cache_enabled" check was to use one of the
 object cache backends to store the rss feed, thus leaving the sitemeta
 table free of rss cruft. That class really needs some garbage collection..

 Anyway, removed that code for the time being. Just watch your sitemeta
 table!
