 @donncha Nope, this was completely clean. Fake domain, paths everything.

 Using "testing.loc" for the domain, as well as testing2.loc and
 testing3.loc.
 All in completely new paths, etc.

 I traced it back just throwing in a:
 {{{ die(__FILE__ .' :: '. __LINE__); }}}

 at random places, to nail down where it was making it to before
 redirecting.

 Started in wpmu-settings, then wp-settings, then blog-header, then the
 config file. Then as a last ditch effort, I stuck it in index.php right at
 the top. Nothing.

 Then I looked at the htaccess file, and noticed the addition at the end.
 Hadn't thought of looking there first, since the .dist file hasn't changed
 in months.
