#667: Subdirectory authentication broken revision 1340

Reporter: ev3rywh3re | Owner: somebody
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: normal | Milestone: WPMU 2.0
Component: component1 | Version: 2.0
Severity: major | Resolution:
Keywords: authentication, login |

Comment (by ev3rywh3re):
What I have so far looks to be somewhere starting with:
auth_redirect()
Users can log in and access root blog & /wp-admin fine. It is sub-
directory blogs ie ( http://wpmu.blah/newblog/wp-admin/ ) that is
inaccessible.
User greeted with login box, user provides credentials, and user is
redirected back to login box. Root /wp-admin still accessible.
I haven't started the task of checking session info yet. This is on a
couple of test machines. Here is the sample list I hate to provide true
URLs, but this can show testing :(
http://iamerica.net - sub-directory not working - Dreamhost
http://webmanager.nicholls.edu - sub-directory not working - I have root
http://people.nicholls.edu - sub-domain working - same machine
and for a goof-ball setup:
http://work.funroe.net/wpmu-trunk/ - sub-directory in a sub-directory not
working - Dreamhost
