 If you're talking about something like:
 http://my.domain.name/mycustompage/600

 loading as if:

 http://my.domain.name/wp-content/plugins/myplugin.php?id=600

 using rewrites, I fully agree. That's actually how I stumbled upon this
 issue in the first place (before I knew of Trac here, thanks for opening
 the ticket for me, by the way).
