 There really should have been a :) at the end of my prev comment. Sorry.

 I'd supply a patch but I'm not sure exactly were the problem is. In
 mu.php/mu_options() there is an unset( $options[ 'misc' ] ); and I'm not
 sure what the purpose of it is. Oh, there isn't a 'misc' options any more.
 I think I'm beginning to get what mu_options() is supposed to do: 'fix the
 $options array for 2.7'.

 Ok, I'm with ya now. Maybe.

 Patch stuffs some error checking in remove_option_whitelist().
