 If editing a specific blog through Site Admin, and the plugin settings are
 on multiple lines (I.E. would be in a textarea field), they are shown in a
 standard text field and all lines below the first are lost, causing plugin
 failure.

 The "fix" I've come up with temporarily is a stristr check of the data
 value, looking for "\n" in the field value. If positive, it is shown in a
 textarea vice text field.
