 I can confirm that WPMU 1.2.1 is not working with Windows Live Writer and
 it looks like it is due to the bug described above.

 When you try to point WLW at a WPMU blog, the error from WLW is "The
 server reported that you do not have an active weblog". I think this is a
 regression from WPMU 1.1.1
