 If you import a WordPress xml file, it doesn't load the categories.  It
 creates blank categories.

 There are occational DB errors displayed in betweeing the message saying
 "importing posts"

 There is also a warning in ALL imports

 For all those categories which were created blank by this import, I edited
 them on the backend [not at mysql] and typed the name.   But those names
 do not show up in the permalink option /%category%/ but displays a number,
 which is what saved as the "category_nicename" in wp_?_categories table.

 But this problem is NOT present for all imports of WordPress.  for the 6
 blogs I imported, 4 had this problem.  I have attached two xml files which
 caused the problem.

 I currently have the WordPress imports disabled for users.
