 It would be really nice to have some way of linking to the site root
 sidestepping the rewrite.php's method of rewriting urls.
 I'm attempting to set up themes to redirect the Powered by wordpress links
 most authors put on their themes to instead point to Powered by
 "site_root" however the current rewrite changes it to the current domain
 (user.domain.com) automatically.
 This plus the themepacks would greatly shorten the amount of setup work
 that each new deployment took.
