[wp-ui] First steps

Hello everyone,

My name is Evan. I have been tinkering with websites for the past 10 years
and started to focus on them full time about 3 years ago. Before that I got
a bachelors in economics and philosophy, then studied graphic design. I have
loved watching WP evolve from its infancy as just a blog platform and now
want to be part of what it grows up to be. I am in a similar boat as most
people here, being fluent in HTML and CSS, with a good working knowledge of
php and javascript. My expertise lies in writing code that is as clean and
simple as possible to create rock solid, elegant solutions.

Two pieces I would love to see improved are how WP handles media and custom
fields.
