In WordPress 7.0, the “Log In” button on the login screen appears slightly
taller compared to the previous version (6.9.4). The increased height
seems to come from updated padding and line-height values, making the
button look visually larger and less balanced within the login form
 layout.

In WordPress 6.9.4, the button had a more compact appearance that aligned
better with the form fields and overall spacing of the login screen.

This ticket proposes adjusting the button styles in WordPress 7.0 by
 slightly reducing:

 Button height
 Vertical padding
 min-height

to better match the previous version’s visual balance and improve
consistency in the login form UI.
