 Some more questions that I want to surface from Slack:

 Do directory paths need to include a trailing slash or not? Currently both
 forms are used pre-7.0.

 Should we remove the file deletion before the directory deletion? I copied
 this from the svn output, but it seems files are not first deleted
 pre-7.0, so maybe we should omit those lines.
