 Thanks for the PR but to be honest, in my testing I'm not sure I can see
 any difference between the current visual implementation and the one
 proposed in the PR, and how it's supposed to improve the navigation. I was
 about to share two before/after videos but the visual feeling is pretty
 the same. Does anyone notice any difference before/after the patch is
 applied?
