 The dedicated table approach in [https://github.com/WordPress/wordpress-
 develop/pull/11256 PR #11256] does not have this issue. A
 [https://github.com/WordPress/wordpress-
 develop/pull/11256/commits/7bd3079abb3629b31cad8275d57cbc188d3567cc test
 demonstrating cache isolation] between sync writes and awareness reads is
 included.
