 As per today's 7.0 pre-RC1 bug scrub:

 I concur with David's last comment during 6.9 cycle:
 > This is early-adjacent given the impact of changes to
 add_post_type_support and surface area.

 7.0 RC1 is tomorrow. Let's move it to 7.1 with `early` keyword.
