 Having reviewed @ellatrix's patch in https://github.com/WordPress
 /wordpress-develop/compare/trunk...ellatrix:wordpress-develop:fix/meta-
 query-cache-invalidation I think that's essentially what I'm suggesting
 (but with better naming!). I think that paves the way for
 `prime_meta_cache` not to include those keys to address the secondary
 issue of sync data "clogging up" the in-memory caches for "read only"
 front end performance etc.
