I think sorting out the flow from post-upgrade/install of WP 7.0 is
necessary ahead of some of these other designs/decisions (because perhaps
then we're not adding a banner/alert on the Connectors page). What is
that flow from the About page to having AI configured and actually trying
 out an AI feature?

On the topic of the AI Experiments designs, I left some feedback in the
Slack thread linked above here in Trac but summarizing my thoughts there
 as...

Ahead of WordPress 7.0, the `AI Experiments` plugin will likely be renamed
to `AI` or `WordPress AI` and will include both Features and Experiments.
I strongly support retaining the existing icon and banner design created
by @karmatosed, particularly the science-inspired aesthetic and playful
color palette. While the beaker leans more toward experiments than
features, the overall tone feels approachable and aligned with the
plugin’s intent. I am wary to support the “bits” or fragmented design
direction, as it can unintentionally suggest that AI is breaking or
destabilizing WordPress, which is not the message we want to convey. I’m
open to thoughtful iterations, but would prefer to stay closer to the
current science-forward visual direction rather than moving toward darker
 color schemes.
