 Similar to [https://make.wordpress.org/core/2018/08/02/try-gutenberg-
callout-in-wordpress-4-9-8/ what was done in 4.9.8 for Gutenberg] (see
#41316), let's look into how a "Try AI" callout could work as part of a
 major upgrade/install flow would work.

 Pulling specific bits from the
 [https://make.wordpress.org/core/2026/02/18/wordpress-7-0-product-review-
meeting-with-matt/#comment-48403 WP 7.0 Product call with Matt]:

 > **Main concern**
 > * Shipping the AI client alone risks a “cool but invisible” outcome if
users don’t see where to configure it or what it enables.
 > * Request: make AI visible and discoverable for users upgrading to 7.0.

 > **“What can users do after connecting?”**
 > * Need at least one “wow” workflow after connecting a provider.
 > * Proposal: promote/rebrand “AI Experiments” into a canonical “AI”
plugin (like Gutenberg: stable + experimental sections).
