 Hello and welcome to WordPress Core Trac,
 Thank you for opening this ticket.

 There is currently no Taxonomy Status metadata associated to taxonomies,
 so this would be a bigger change than just adding a user interface to
 manage this workflow. Any proposal for a technical implementation is
 welcome, but it's definitely not something doable for milestone 7.0 :)
