 Thank you @jorbin, @westonruter, @peterwilsoncc, @davidbaumwald, and
 @gziolo for the thoughts and insights shared on this issue. The need for a
 decision has been raised in the release leads Core Slack channel, and I'll
 be waiting on public direction from the release/product leadership
 regarding next steps.
