 Can you go ahead and actually try the code I provided - including the
 `declare(strict_types=1);` ?

 I'll wait with replying the rest of your response until then, just in case
 you want to edit it, since some claims ("it is impossible in real-life
 scenarios") show a complete lack of understanding of PHP's type system.
