Comment:

 So, I've just become aware of this, and I think we need to be a bit more
 cautious in how we interpret browser support requirements in
 differentiating between front-end support and admin support. Our official
 support has always been about what you need in order to use the WordPress
 admin; but this change impacts front-end due to the interactivity API, and
 specifically impacts the navigation menu block in full site editing.

 If we're going to choose to apply our browser support criteria to the
 front-end, then we need to be very clear that using a block theme means
 that you are only supporting this list of browsers.

 In my opinion, this should be reconsidered due to its front-end
 consequences.
