 From my testing, no warning is shown currently while deleting a comment
 with children.

 Also, I can see two different behaviors...

 If we are just sending the parent comment to trash, its children too are
 not shown in frontend (although the comments screen in dashboard shows the
 child comments normally).

 But if I clear the trashed comments (i.e. delete permanently), THEN the
 child comments get moved up, which contradicts the behavior shown by trash
 action.

 imo user might expect child comments to get deleted too, as that is what
 trash option implied on the frontend before deleting the comment
 permanently.
