 Yes, absolutely. In posts the excerpts should always show prior to the
 image (including if image and its context such as caption or button
 overlay is before the initial excerpt / sentence / paragraph).

 The websites / blogs that post images with captions only (image format),
 this would make sense for the image caption (not button text overlay) to
 show. Unless those who are not photographers, want (need) to override this
 rule as the content (excerpts of initial sentence / paragraph) overrides
 the image (and its context) at all times.
