 It's a bug or not, depending on the code, maybe it even has a unit test to
 expect this behavior.

 But I agree with you, its not correct that a child comment is promoted to
 parent. I think that the right way to proceed is like in Reddit:

 If there is a child, mark the parent as deleted and put a placeholder
 like: `This message was deleted`.

 Would like to hear more opinions, @yashjawale, what do you think?
