 Hey @meraj97,

 Thanks for flagging this! I've just taken a look and can definitely see
 the bug on [https://playground.wordpress.net WP Playground].

 Interestingly, I can't seem to replicate it locally (I'm on v6.8.2), even
 when following your exact steps. This makes me think it might be an
 environmental issue specific to how the playground is set up, perhaps
 related to caching, a specific dependency version, or its build
 configuration.

 To help narrow it down, it would be great if a few others could chime in:
 has anyone seen this happen in their own development or production setup?
