 The notes sidebar is an equivalent to a notes archive, showing all notes
 including resolved ones, with only unresolved notes showing in the canvas.
 And your subtext is valid: wanting to be able to see your post without
 even the unresolved comments.

 For now the answer to how you can hide unresolved comments is to open the
 document inspector, or check the "Show template" option in the preview
 dropdown.

 And there's more work to be done as part of the collaborative phase:
 hopefully we'll get good feedback for this first, low-prominence release,
 that can be refined in future versions. For example there are some
 questions around whether you should be able to see block notes
 [https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/71885#issuecomment-3435548354
 with the block inspector open], and if yes, how you'd then hide in-canvas
 notes.
