 I agree with @dd32 — the proposed "Core Plugins" filter appears to be
 redundant.

 Existing options already allow users to discover officially maintained
 plugins, so adding a separate filter does not provide significant
 additional value and would introduce unnecessary maintenance overhead.

 This ticket should be marked as **wontfix**.
