 It looks like a great idea to support views. I've never considered using
 `dbDelta` for this purpose.

 @mordauk two things come to my mind:
 1. Patch is not applying any more, needs a refresh, can you have a look at
 it?
 2. Most importantly, to facilitate the things for the testing team, can
 you provide with [https://make.wordpress.org/test/2025/05/15/building-the-
 testing-use-case/#back-end-enhancements-and-new-features a very simple
 Testing Use Case] to showcase your patch?
