Comment:

 I agree this should be closed based on the issue linked and the suggestion
 to continue upstream. Whilst it doesn't resolve the issue it would be
 ideal to continue there. We can, of course, always reopen things if that
 is desired, but for now, let's take this ticket to the upstream state as
 whilst not reporting a new issue it can continue there.
