 === Environment
 - WordPress: 6.9-alpha-60093-src
 - PHP: 8.4.6
 - Server: nginx/1.27.5
 - Database: mysqli (Server: 8.4.5 / Client: mysqlnd 8.4.6)
 - Browser: Chrome 136.0.0.0
 - OS: Windows 10/11
 - Theme: My First WordPress Theme
 - MU Plugins: None activated
 - Plugins:
   * Test Reports 1.2.0
   * WordPress Importer 0.8.4

 === Reproduction Steps

 1. Download and extract this file:
 https://core.trac.wordpress.org/attachment/ticket/18282/page%20xml%20.zip
 2. It has two files: `pages-50.xml` and `page-53.xml`
 3. Add The WordPress Importer in Tools > Import > WordPress > Install Now
 4. Import the `pages-50.xml`
 5. Go to Appearance > Menus
 6. Create a new Menu, call it whatever you like
 7. Go to Pages > View All.
 8. Here you will see the 50 pages in a list with all the Parent Pages and
 Child Pages
 9. Do a Screenshot, everything looks good, all Parent Pages with their
 respective Child PagesπŸ‘Œ
 10. Go to Pages, Delete all pages
 11. Go back to WordPress importer
 12. Import the `page-53.xml`
 13. Now go back to the Menus section > Pages > View All
 14. Now you will see a pagination, with pages 1 and 2. Go to page 2
 15. 🐞 You will see that some Pages are no longer listed as child pages
 adequately. Check your screenshot for comparison purposes.
