Comment:

 The Akismet plugin is automatically updated in the build repo for trunk
 and the current stable branch via a script on the build server. The latest
 version of Akismet was released last week,  after WordPress 6.7.2, so will
 be included in WordPress 6.7.3. You can see the commit on the build server
 in this [https://build.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/59316/branches/6.7/wp-
 content/plugins change to the plugins directory].

 ----

 Unfortunately the version bump commit for TT5 in the 6.7 branch was missed
 for the 6.7.2 release. It has since been done in commit [59810] against
 ticket #62943 so will also be included in 6.7.3.

 As the plugin update is automated and the TT5 backport handled in another
 ticket, I've closed this a duplicate of the other ticket.
