 Give me feedback, I've been doing a ton of testable code to validate my
 vision on why this patch should not progress

 Currently, I don't even feel that there is a need of a workaround. I
 believe that the tests you submitted are incomplete. Tomorrow I'm going to
 focus on them to have a final verdict.

 And I would like to understand why you think this patch is so important.
 Are you building some feature in your company and finding some blocker?
 How did this come to your mind one day out of the blue?

 I would also ping @oglekler that was who brought me all these doubts about
 this patch.
