 @mukesh27 @joemcgill - are either of you able to help me with fixing this
 issue? I've implented the suggested solutions above to no avail.

 I have removed 'auto' and changed the 'intrinsic' size in developer mode,
 this fixes the image distortion issue so I am confident I have the same
 issue. But the solution isn't working, maybe I'm changing the wrong
 funcions.php file. I'm happy to pay for help.
