 This is a thoughtful continuation of the flexibility introduced in
 [#57278](https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/57278).
 Allowing custom statuses and labels makes the plugin screen more
 extensible for developers.
 Removing the hardcoded status check and adding a filter for label
 rendering feels like a natural and future-friendly improvement.
